Unpack the Kit

Register your sample
  • Scan the QR code on the form
  • Enter your sample barcode and click "Next"
  • Fill in the required fields and click "Register"

Collect your saliva sample
  • Place the funnel under your mouth and spit saliva into the tube.
  • Repeat until the liquid (not foam) reaches the fill line.
  • Ensure you haven’t eaten or drunk anything for at least 30 minutes before collecting the sample

Secure the sample
  • Remove the funnel from the tube
  • Close the tube tightly with the cap
  • Shake the closed tube vigorously about 10 times

Pack for return
  • Place the closed tube into the safety bag with the pad and seal it
  • Put the safety bag into the return box
  • Insert the return box into the return envelope and seal it

Wait for your results

Your results will be sent back 3 to 4 weeks after the sample is sent to the lab

The test uses advanced DNA sequencing and lab-grade analysis to detect and quantify a wide range of bacteria in your saliva. The methods used are the same as those in clinical and academic research settings, ensuring high sensitivity and reliability.

By identifying imbalances or overgrowth of harmful bacteria, ORALIS 1 helps you understand your risk factors for things like gum disease, bad breath, or even systemic inflammation.

With the results, you can take specific actions — from diet to hygiene to oral probiotics — to support a healthier mouth and body.

Just spit into the provided saliva collection tube using the funnel. Make sure to do it first thing in the morning before brushing your teeth or drinking anything. Full instructions are included in the kit — the process takes about 2–5 minutes.

Once your sample arrives at the lab, results are typically ready within 3-4 weeks. You’ll get a secure link via email to view your personalized report.
